What are the challenges faced by political parties in India?

there are 4 challenges to parties-

-parties dont contest internal elections often and leasders and high positioned members seldom change. It makes it difficult for common members to rise to top and often causes divisions in parties

-leaders often favour their family and friends. This is also bad for democracy as inexperienced candidates with less popular support are coming to power

-use of money and muscle power in elections allows criminals to take part in politics and influence decision/policy making ,without popular support, for their own benefit

-lately, the ideologies of political parties have been getting similar,which do not offer the voters much choices to choose the best party
