Where was the hot air balloon first flown?

On the 19th September 1783 Pilatre de Rozier launched the first hot air balloon. The passengers were a sheep, a duck and a rooster. The balloon stayed in the air for 15 minutes and then crashed to the ground. Two months later the Montgolfier brothers launched a balloon from the centre of Paris which flew for a period of 20 minutes
