What the difference between ant and cockroach?

Grasshoppers go through an incomplete metamorphism. Unlike the normal insect life cycle of egg, larvae, pupa then adult, a grasshopper starts as an egg then hatches as a nymph. The grasshopper grows by molting five times from a nymph to an adult.
