Saint Maria Faustina Kowalska's body is not decaying in the traditional sense, as her remains were found to be incorrupt when exhumed in 1966. This phenomenon is often attributed to divine intervention, and her body was placed in a glass coffin in the convent of the Sisters of Our Lady of Mercy in Kraków, Poland. The preservation of her body is seen by many as a sign of her holiness and a testament to her life of virtue.
