Why fast at Ramadan?

Dear, sir/madam, do not say Ramadan but say the Month of Ramadan, because Ramadan is one of the 99 names of Allah (S.W.T), so going back to you question, Fasting in the Holy Month of Ramadan is to fast from:

• Eating/Drinking
• Having Sexual Intercourse
• Swearing
• smoking
• Evil doings etc etc.

The Holy month of Ramadan is to make you a better person and a closer of one at that to God the Almighty.
