How do you clean you lip piercing?

For the inner part of your lip, wash it out with non-alcoholic mouthwash after each meal for the first week that you have it, then after that week, reduce mouthwash rinsing to once a day. Make sure not to overuse mouthwash; it can chemically burn your tongue and severely dry out your mouth. For the outer part of your lip, clean it twice a day with antibacterial (Dial) soap for the first week. Again after that first week, reduce cleaning to once a day. Do not overclean the outer lip either, as it can cause irritation, dryness and itchiness.
