Wearing a ring on Third finger of right hand?

Engagement and weddings rings are worn on the third finger of the left hand, ancient Egyptians and Romans started and followed this trend, the first rings being made out of reeds and rushes, the Romans then using leather, ivory, bone for hardness. It was placed on this finger for the belief was that the vein from that finger came straight from the heart
