The factors that affect the climate of Pakistan:
- The elevated mountains of north are the source of stopping extremely cold winds coming from Siberia.
- Monsoonal winds comes from the eastern side to lower down the temperature in extreme weather condition in Pakistan.
- High amount of rainfall is attracted by the northern mountain of Pakistan becomes the source of regular source of river.
- Western depression brings rainfall in the winter season particularly in Baluchistan and in whole Pakistan general.
- Coastal winds keeps the temperature of the coastal areas moderate for the whole year.
- High temperature becomes the source of attracting moisture from all directions.
- Convectional currents bring rainfall to the northern Punjab and NWFP
- Tropical cyclones from the Arabian sea occasionally brings destructive strong winds with heavy showers in the summer season.
- Latitude affect is the reason to increase the temperature because of its location.
