Why did Ra create Sekhmet?

Ra created Sekhmet as a powerful goddess of war and destruction to protect humanity and maintain order. Sekhmet's fierce nature was intended to punish the enemies of Ra and safeguard the balance of Ma'at, the principle of truth and cosmic order. However, her uncontrollable rage also necessitated the intervention of other deities to temper her violence.
