Who is the founder of the element antimony?

The element antimony (Sb) was not "founded" by a single individual, as it has been known since ancient times. Early uses date back to 3100 BCE, with its compounds mentioned in Egyptian cosmetics.

The German chemist Andreas Libavius (late 16th century) is credited with isolating antimony metal. However, Vannoccio Biringuccio (1540) provided the first detailed description of its extraction.
