Where is the colossus of the sun located today?

The Colossus of the Sun, also known as the Colossus of Rhodes, was located on the island of Rhodes in ancient Greece. It stood at the entrance of the harbor and was one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World. Today, the statue no longer exists, as it was destroyed by an earthquake around 226 BC, and its remnants were eventually sold off as scrap metal. The exact location of its original site is marked by a lighthouse known as the Colossus of Rhodes.
