What form can you find carbon in the atmosphere?

In the atmosphere, carbon primarily exists in the form of carbon dioxide (CO2) and methane (CH4). Carbon dioxide is the most prevalent greenhouse gas, produced by natural processes and human activities, while methane is released from both natural sources, such as wetlands, and anthropogenic activities like agriculture and fossil fuel extraction.
