What channel does dish network need to be on to work a DVD player?

The DVD player should be connected directly to your TV. When you plug the cable (yellow, white, red in most cases) into the ports on the TV, the ports are labeled. Pay attention to the port label where you connected the DVD player. On your TV, when you want to watch a DVD, put your TV on the port where you connected the cable. The ports could be labeled AV1, Video 1, etc. Use your TV remote to go through the input settings till you get your DVD picture.
