What is a good example of a good source?

(john here) There is no source that is the best for every purpose. If you want to know what a US Congressman/woman said in the House of representatives or in the Senate, read the Congressional Record. This is a verbatim, unedited record of what every member of Congress said in session. It is a good practice with news stories to read more than one version. The New York Times and The Times of India and al-Jazeera will present quite different versions of political stories.

However the sources you get on google are not necessarily 100% accurate so I recommend ebsco.com. They have good accurate sources that you can always believe. However you will have to pay for it, but believe me, it's worth it!
