Where is split by Rocky Mountains?

The Rocky Mountains split North America into two main drainage areas: the west side of the Rockies drains into the Pacific Ocean, while the east side drains into the Gulf of Mexico and Hudson Bay. The mountains extend from British Columbia in Canada down to New Mexico in the United States.
