Where can I get Owner manual for craftsman lt 2000 lawn tractor?

The only place I have been able to find a replacement owner's manual for my Craftsman Lawn Tractor is by going to their main home page at www.sears.com then clicking on the "customer service" button. You can then follow the links to "lawn and garden" or "parts" and you will be required to enter a model number or a part number. Usually, the model number and serial number is located under the engine cowling or below the seat. For the record, the printed manual I needed cost under $5 and the shipping was around $7! The company does not believe in giving anything away apparently. You'd think they would put service manuals online free for their customers' convenience.

I have been able to get a online manual off sears parts site that you down load onto a adobe program free and you can print it or put on a disc.You just need model number.just google sears parts.
