Rude behavior in the workplace is anything that would concern you as a bad employee. Don't be short with answers. Use your manners-i.e please and thank you. Use formal etiquette- address people by their names, greet them pleasantly, ask them detailed questions concerning the workplace, and dismiss them with grace and formal mannerisms. Don't engage in any inappropriate behavior at work-don't text, meet your significant other there, or invite your friends to come visit you. You are getting paid to work and do your job. So, act like you would if your grandmother was watching, and you should generally be okay. Just be polite and courteous and appropriate.
