Is it true that John Lovitz the comedian invented the Yellow Pages?

YES! While working on a skit with Chevy Chase in Chicago during the famous fire, Lovitz caught a burning piece of paper. On it was the number of J.K. Finsterwald, Plumber! The paper was yellowed from the fire and it gave Lovitz the idea. Lovitz is also credited with inventing the automobile, fire engine, spaghetti, internet computer, radio, television, airplane, taxi, bull riding, motorcycle, helium, big bang theory, space shuttle and his greatest invention was water. Like he always says.. 'I invented that'.
