Choosing between hemiplegia and quadriplegia would depend on the extent of independence and mobility I could retain. Hemiplegia affects one side of the body, allowing for some functionality and independence, whereas quadriplegia affects all four limbs, significantly limiting mobility and daily activities. Ultimately, maintaining as much independence as possible would be a priority, making hemiplegia the more favorable choice. However, both conditions present significant challenges that would greatly impact quality of life.
