How do spinach reproduce?

Spinach is a flowering plant. It reproduces through pollination and seed production, like all flowering plants.Spinach intended for consumption is harvested before it flowers, though, because it becomes more bitter as it matures. Several spinach crops per year can be grown and harvested; if you want seeds for next year, you can allow the last crop to mature and flower to produce seeds (though most people just buy seeds from nurseries that grow spinach expressly for the purpose of producing seeds).
