Has anyone ever died in a hot air balloon?

Im sure its very unlikely, but start of 2012, 11 people from NZ died due to the hot air balloon hitting power lines and going up in flames. I suppose anything has a possible death. Grow some balls and suck it up and go on the ride of your life
