Is it safe to say that people who have mental illness do not have spiritual guidiance in there lives what do you think?

No. There are tons of mentally ill people that go to church regularly and obsess on religious matters... i.e. demon possession, hearing the voice of God. Recently a woman, regular and active church member, cut the arms and legs off her child because she thought she needed to make God a sacrifice. She went to a church and seemed okay to a lot of people, but she had a lot of mental problems. I don't think it was her church's fault either, her mental condition would've caused her to be violent even without religion.
