What does a pickerel weed look like?

A tall plant with blue flowers and glossy foliage for pool margins is the look of pickerel weed. The Pontederia genus member in question matures to a height of 2 to 2.5 feet (60 to 75 centimeters) and a width of 1.5 feet (45 centimeters) within three to four years. The aquatic plant in question needs full sun and water depths of 2 to 8 inches (5 to 20 centimeters) to produce repeat blooms, facilitated by stem cuts as flowers fade, throughout the summer.
