Aldi is a German mini-supermarket which is found in some European countries such as Germany and the UK.

Whether Aldi is "good" is up to you, the buyer, because everyone has their own tastes and expectations of a supermarket (or mini-supermarket in this case).

Aldi is known for selling some top brands for cheaper than most other supermarkets, particularly in the UK.

Aldi also specialises in European food which is imported to their mini-supermarkets and are not available in the other larger supermarkets. So you may find some food or products that you never knew even existed.

Others say Aldi is a "budget market" designed for people on low income and therefore perceive it as "tacky".
