Currently, I am a student and I have to study for long amounts each day. In order to make it more interesting, I usually write on a whiteboard. It is fun and it helps me memorize the information easily because I am able to repeat and rewrite it easily and faster.
Here are some tips:
- Make it meaningful - try to find some way to relate what you're studying to your life. For example, you need to learn math facts so you can balance your bank account, or you need to know history facts so you don't make the same mistakes they made in the past. You can even make totally silly reasons to make things more fun, like "I need to learn different types of bacteria in case a giant mutated bacteria colony invades the earth and I need to save us all by identifying them for the government."
- Use color - write your notes in different colors, make colorful charts and graphs, and illustrate them
- Make up puzzles and games using the material you're learning. You can also make riddles and jokes if you like that sort of thing.
