What is gay sex all about and why do some people prefer it?

Research in this area is pointing to a biological if not genetic origin of sexual orientation; thus, gay people are probably born gay (i.e. with same-sex attraction), just as straight people are born straight (i.e. attracted to the opposite sex). Although this is controversial among those who believe that homosexuality is a choice rather than a state (e.g. among Christian and social conservatives), the body of scientific evidence is slowly building up to support the biological/genetic "nature" origin of sexuality.

The reason, then, that gay people prefer gay sex is because they were born that way, just as straight people prefer straight sex because they were born that way

Despite the so called "body of evidence" that people are born that way, and some of them most definitely are, there is a considerable amount of political, economical, philosophical and other interests at play that are seriously exploiting the entire gay topic. And most of them don't have any respect toward ethics or honesty.

Its was not so long ago when people published pseud scientific authority supported literature stating that masturbation would make you sick and/or would kill you. That didn't make it true. Any reasonable thought on the subject would keep reservations towards believing in any statement. For all we know it be just another instance of morality being disguised as science. We are all very aware how much society rejects and violently opposes inconveniences. Considering how many times alternative view points have been completely eradicated from this answer - its enough food for thought.
