When did it first come to use?

The first use of the term "AI" (Artificial Intelligence) can be traced back to a conference at Darthmouth College in 1956. However, the concept of artificial intelligence, or the idea of machines that can exhibit human-like intelligence, has been around for centuries in myths and folklore.
