Can progesterone cream help you avoid a miscarriage?

It helped me.

I had had six healthy babies, all around 2 years apart, and with my seventh, all of the sudden around 8 weeks i started to miscarry. Friends in the States told me to try progesterone, but i couldn't get it fast enough through our health care system (it isn't as readily available in Canada), and i lost that baby.

I was pregnant again just over a month later, and this time i went straight to my doctors and got progesterone, which i took until i was around 6 months pregnant. Every time i tried to go off, something weird would happen, and i'd go back on and be fine.

My little baby was born in March 08, and I'm so glad i had friends who had good advice for me. I would have hated to lose this little one as well...
