How do you get rid of queen anne's lace?

Queen Anne's Lace is generally known as a weed inside the U.S.A. My grandparents had a mass of it in their yard, and for troublesome plants they always used seasalt. However, if you live inland this can pollute your soil. I use coffee grounds, usually already brewed. This does require the root of the plant to be dug up, but is far less invasive to the environment for planting other things. This plant/weed can also be controlled by the same rhyosome barrier that is used to control bamboo.

Our bull buffalo especially loved Queen Anne's Lace & a pink-flowered legume. We no longer have any Queen Anne's Lace in a pastures 5 years later with no buffalo.
