Do max and fang kiss in book 6?

Yes they do!

In chapter 7 Pg 23 there alone in a tent in Africa and Max and Fang are kissing then Nugde ruins the moment by calling them to dinner.

Pg 98 Max was in the bathroom brushing her hair and Fang came in and they kissed but that was broken up by The Gasman and Iggy. They were making fun of Max and Fangs relashonship and that caused Max to go into the hallway and yell at them.

Pg 147Max and Fang are in a tree
