Are you sure you are using the correct solution for the test. How old is your test kit and solutions. More than a year - replace with new. If left in the sun more than 20 min - get a new test kit. You can not have a zero pH - your test does not go that low. It only reads to 6.8. Bring a water sample to pool store for an accurate reading and they will advise you for your reagion as to what to do .
