What are the ancient Greeks remembered for?

Speaking Greek was the big one. Their civilization preceded the Roman. The Greeks are know for their philosophy, art and sculpture, literature and mythology. The ancient Greece have many famous people known for their heroic and intelligent act.

The Olympian God and Goddesses derived from the Greeks. Some important Gods are Zeus, the God of the Sky and Olympian, Poseidon (God of the sea and horses) and Hades (the God of the underworld).
