How wide is the colossus at Rhodes?

The Colossus of Rhodes was approximately 33 meters (108 feet) tall and was situated on a pedestal that added to its overall height. Its width at the base is estimated to have been around 7.5 meters (24.6 feet). This immense statue, one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World, was designed to represent the sun god HeliOS and stood at the entrance of the harbor of Rhodes.
