The mailing time of a letter has many variances. One factor is when the pick up time is at any given mailing point where the letter is being sent from, ie: mailbox at your home, post office or drop-off box. Also, it depends on who is delivering the letter, Fed Ex, the USPS or UPS...etc. Also, keep in mind that inclement weather may slow a letter's arrival time, due to diverted air traffic and ground traffic, affecting the delivery vehicle. Typically, if a letter is sent via First-Class mail, it will take two to three days, unless the mail Gods are watching your letter and you receive it next day.
