It depends (no pun intended) on what you both want and what has raised the question. Wearing diapers, for non essential reasons (since presumably he did not wear/need them before you married) is a very intimate and personal thing. It not only involves all the intimacy of diapering, but also some of the deepest feelings of vulnerability a human can experience. So this practice could increase the intimacy of your marriage.

Alternatively, if you are thinking to force him and he does not want to, then it seems unlikely to help your marriage - unless he is willing/wanted to be submissive to you. In that respect it could be part of a D/s relationship, or even as part of a more vanilla Female Led Relationship by extending your control, but is dependant on what the dynamic and agreements there are between you. Some use it for chastity reasons though.

So, if he wants it and you want it, then it should make you both closer. If he doesn't, then question what your wish to achieve.
