Get your GED first. Most of these schools are for profit and you will have a school loan to support after finishing. Most communities have free pre-tests for the GED. Go get that and then get any help you need before taking the real test. You could obtain a study book from the library to refresh your math, reading and writing skills. Two people I know passed the pre test and went immediately to take the real one. Done!
