What are the advantage and disadvantages of population control?

Population Control is the practice of artificially altering the rate of growth of a human population. Therefore the advantages are: 1) The economy might widen seen as though there are less children. Less children therefore means that the majority of the population is of an older generation. Therefore they are making money for the country.

Disadvantage: It does not allow population growth therefore encouraging migration.
