What is a good age to start cutting the lawn?

As soon as the grass gets 2 1/2 inches high. My grass grows year around so I have to mow year around. It depends on your grass and how fast it grows.

Newly planted grass should not be cut until it reaches a height of at least 2 1/2 inches. Also make sure your lawn is dry before mowing. ok but when should sumone start
