First, you may already be aware that most stores currently are not offering full times positions to people, even if they transfer to the same position in a different store. So you might want to ask the store(s) you are interested in about this.
Next, if you get along with your store managers you might speak to them about this. The reason I suggest the store manager is that at some point the store manager will get your request through the Walmart computer and have to approve you leaving. Also, store managers (not all know how to do this), can go onto the dashboard and see postions in other stores that are open. They also may have connections at that store to help you get a good position.
If you don't feel comfortable speaking with your store manager, then i suggest speaking with your personnel manager (not required though). You do though need a username/passWord to log onto the "wire" at work. Search for "personnel dashobard" On that link it will let you know your career preferences of what areas in your own store you are interested in. Somewhere on a side link it will list for you to put in for a transfer. It will then ask you for what stores you want to put in for a transfer and for what departments in the store as well. Keep in mind that if you want to transfer to a store that needs someone in the electronics and you know nothing about it, you will not be able to transfer.
