Should you state the whole truth if caught cheating?

You haven't been honest yet about cheating, how dare you even answer this question about honesty.

In order to live in a healthy, loving relationship it is always best to be faithful (among many other things) as well as honest - honesty is always the best policy.

I think confessing is the right thing to do, before it goes bad and hurt lots of people. This will also help you to know if you confess to your love one of what you did and really be sorry about it, he or she will forgive you. Love can make your world different..

I know I should be more honest with my wife.

If you feel confessing is the right thing to do before it hurts; obviously your wife; if you already know or think she will forgive you by confessing, and she loves you, you have already done something wrong.

You would not have said you should be more honest with your wife if you haven't done something you already feel guilt for. Guilt will eat at you and do more to destroy a relationship than just being honest about what you did.

Tell her the truth. In the end if she loves you, she will forgive you and you will have a stronger marriage based on honesty and truth.
