Tim Horton lived in Cochrane, Ontario, for a relatively short period. He moved there in 1967 when he was playing for the Toronto Maple Leafs and continued to reside there until his tragic death in 1974. During this time, he became an integral part of the community, which later contributed to the naming of the local ice rink after him.
