How did the Europeans affect the lifestyle of the aborigines?

The Europeans brought goods that the Native Americans didn't even know existed, which was both good and bad. It made the natives more advanced and caught up with the rest of the world, but it also took away some of their traditions, since they didn't have to make everything for themselves. The Europeans also brought Christianity with them and sometimes forced the Native Americans into it, thus almost eliminating their traditions of their religion.
