How do you remove a hot radiator cap?

The best way is to wait till it cools. But if you REALLY have to remove it while it's boiling, you should cover it with a heavy towel and open it slowly while putting some pressure on it so that it doesnt jump off. also keep in mind to cover your eyes nose and mouth. the fumes which will get out are really hot and poisonous.
