Why did Jesus require the Holy Spirit during his time on Earth?

Jesus required the Holy Spirit during his time on Earth to empower him for his ministry, to guide him in his teachings, and to strengthen him in times of trial and temptation. The Holy Spirit also helped Jesus to perform miracles and to fulfill his mission of bringing salvation to humanity.
