When was Daniel in the lions den?

Oh honey, Daniel was in the lions' den around the 6th century BC. He was thrown in there for refusing to stop praying to his God, but those lions must have been on a diet because they didn't lay a paw on him. So, Daniel came out of that den without a scratch, proving once again that you can't keep a good man down, even when he's surrounded by hungry felines.
