Is USA part of the Commonwealth of Nations?

The United States of America is no part of the Commonwealth of Nations. The Commonwealth of Nations formerly known as the British Commonwealth, consists of countries such as Malaysia, Singapore, Nigeria, Pakistan, and many other countries that were formally occupied by Britain.
