September 11 changed lives around the world. Not only were there financial dealings within the towers, but people from around the world worked in those buildings. Per my last information found 83 countries were represented. Shortly following the events, people began to come together to counter act the attacks by helping out. The security around the country has since been tightened down and more people are aware of what to watch for in case of an attack.
