What are the different colors of the sky?

The sky can appear in various colors depending on atmospheric conditions. Common colors include blue during the day due to Rayleigh scattering of sunlight, orange and red during sunrise and sunset due to longer path lengths of sunlight through the atmosphere, and grey or black during nighttime due to the absence of sunlight.
