Is Sanskrit compulsory for children in ICSE class 5?

yes.do not teach hard things, teach things like names of fruits,vegetables,animals,birds and teach basic sentences like aham likhami meaning i write or kim tvam vaanaraha asti ? meaning are you a monkey etc. etc .
