As with any eye injury, you should see medical attention if you are worried about "how bad is it?" I recently was swatted by a frond from a Sago while grooming it. It felt a little bad and had a tiny red spot. The next day the vision was blurred and progressively became worse as the day went on. I ended up going to the ER and was diagnosed with a corneal abrasion (scratch over my iris) and Conjunctivitis (pink eye). Eyes heal quickly so if any injury is not getting better within a few hours, a visit to an Ophthalmologist or at a minimum the ER should be strongly considered. You only have two eyes and both are needed for depth perception. Be smart and know the extent of your injury.
